Pro Bono Award 2025

We’re commercial lawyers, but first we’re lawyers.

We have the professional duty to dedicate pro bono hours, to contribute to society by improving access to justice for the public.

This year, we partnered with LBH Masyarakat and LKBH–PPS FHUI, in handling a juvenile criminal justice case--TPPA (Tindak Pidana Peradilan Anak): the Lebak Bulus Parricide.

Our core advocacy is to spread awareness. We were working against stigma fueled by sensational media—both mainstream and social—coverages. Speculations by quacks and influencers were creating more prejudices.

It was a win: a restorative justice judgement.

At societal level, our pro bono is a contribution for better public policy on mental health and childcaring in Indonesia. The case becomes a case study for legal and medical scholars.

Richer van Budi, one of our lawyers, received a recognition from Hukumonline out of this case.
